Digital Skills Forum took place in Porto

The Digital Skills Forum took place in Porto, which closed the Digital Skills Month – #tratarodigitalportu.

The Digital Skills Month calendar featured more than 40 initiatives, culminating in this Forum, where the main results of the INCoDe.2030 initiatives were presented, by the General Coordinator of INCoDe.2030, Luisa Ribeiro Lopes, and the National Map of Initiatives of Digital Training, which has more than 1200 initiatives and is available at www.pontodigital.pt.

The event featured messages from the Prime Minister, António Costa, MEP Maria Manuel Leitão Marques, president of the Digital Skills Forum, and the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Administrative Modernization, Mário Campolargo, who closed the event.

The importance of digital skills in artificial intelligence was under debate. Arlindo Oliveira, General Coordinator of National AI, Web 3.0 and Data Strategies set the tone for the debate, followed by a discussion of the topic with contributions from Alípio Jorge, Andres Ortolá, Joana Gonçalves Sá, João Dias and Paulo Nuno Vicente, and moderation by SIC journalist, João Moleira.

Luisa Ribeiro Lopes was also in conversation with Pedro Guedes de Oliveira and Nuno Rodrigues, two previous coordinators of INCoDe.2030. An assessment of the Employment + Digital Program was also made by the Secretary of State for Labor, Miguel Fontes, and the second phase of the #LerBeforeClickAfter campaign was presented by Isabel Baptista from CNCS.

In parallel, throughout the day, several workshops took place and initiatives dedicated to qualifying people, companies and organizations to use digital were on display.

The winners of the “Selo Uma Ação INCoDe.2030” Award, which aims to recognize and publicize initiatives and entities that promote the best practices in digital empowerment of the population, and which were distinguished with the Seal “Uma Ação INCoDe.2030” were also announced. . The winning initiatives were: Technovation Girls, StepByTech, Apps for Good, T-CODE and Rampa Digital.
