The Portuguese platform for learning to code for children was the winner in the “Empowering Youth in Digital” category of the European Digital Skills Awards, in an edition that this year had 330 entries, 52 of which were Portuguese.
ubbu was the winning project due to its impact in several countries, the size of its work and the attractive format. It becomes a differentiating platform, especially as it is designed to be used by families, teachers and people with no programming experience, making it an attractive tool for children and adults to learn together.
This competition aims to recognize and promote projects and initiatives that support European citizens in all areas related to digital skills, with themes such as digital upskilling in all professional sectors, including advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cybersecurity and a lot more.
