Description – StepByTech is a program promoted by the Lisbon City Council (CML) – Future of Work Lisbon, 100% free, which focuses on developing the skills of the future!
Through a path of experimentation in the universe of programming, it is intended to contribute to accelerating the digital maturity of people and companies and, simultaneously, to reduce the gender and generational gap in the technological market.
Aimed at technology enthusiasts, this program opens doors to new opportunities for the future, raises digital skills and also provides 5 scholarships for Le Wagon’s intensive Web Development bootcamp.
The program takes place in three phases:
Step 1. Tech Scan – 500 participants will be able to take the first steps in learning programming skills, front-end and back-end, and scan the technological universe.
Step 2. Tech Ignition – 50 participants will have the opportunity to continue their journey in the world of programming, deepening skills in the development of landing pages and use of the JavaScript language.
Step 3. Tech Immersion – 5 participants will have the opportunity to join Le Wagon’s intensive, internationally recognized advanced training Web Development bootcamp.

StepByTech is a program for Greater Lisbon residents, professionals or students, aged between 18 and 68, who wish to take their first steps or continue their discovery in the world of programming, the only requirements being:
1. Basic understanding of the digital environment
2. Domain of the Portuguese language
3. Proficiency in the English language
