The National Institute of Administration, I. P., (INA, I. P.) is promoting training in the scope of the initiative AP Digital 4.0., aligned with the strategy for the digital development of the country – INCoDe.2030.
On International Day of the Girl Child, which was celebrated on 11 October, the 6th edition of the Programme Engineers for a Day was launched, at the event “Shaping the Digital future”, which discussed issues such as the role of schools as agents of change for gender equality and how to attract and retain female talent in this area.
The Digital Skills Forum will take place on the 24th of October, at ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, and will be attended by the Prime Minister, António Costa, and the Secretary of State for Digitization and Administrative Modernization, Mário Campolargo.
The International Day of the Girl Child is celebrated on October 11 with the launch of the 6th edition of the programme Engineers for a Day, on the theme “Shaping The Digital Future: International Day of the Girl Child” starting at 9:30 am at the Romeu Correia Municipal Forum (in Almada) which will also be broadcast online.
Today we launch the Digital Skills Month. For the first time, the governmental area of digitalisation and administrative modernisation, under the INCoDe.2030 initiative, carries out, throughout the month of October and throughout the national territory, several actions of the programmes that are working in Portugal to promote the digital skills of Portuguese men and women.
The C-Academy will provide 44 training courses in cybersecurity, starting in the fourth quarter of this year, in different formats and levels of demand, and intends, by the first quarter of 2026, to cover around 9,800 trainees.

The UPskill Program is supported by INCoDe.2030 and aims to challenge people to work in the “digital” sector. This initiative is an opportunity for companies to boost their teams with new skills, but also for people to re-qualify themselves to work in a critical sector meant for the economy.
