On March 11, at 10:00 am, the second session of the Workshop Cycle “Girls in Engineering and Technologies” will take place, in Webinar format, with the theme “Women in Artificial Intelligence”, as part of the celebrations of the International Women’s Day.
Women are at the forefront in areas such as health, social action, education, but they are not so present in leadership positions, nor in technological areas. How can we change this reality?
The INCoDe.2030 Program recently distinguished Universidade Sénior 2.0- “Séniores Ativos em Casa” project with the seal “uma ação INCODE.2030”, which aims to recognize, distinguish and give notoriety to actions that signal the broad mobilization of society around INCoDe.2030’s goals.

Next Monday, International Women’s Day, at 3:00 pm, the role of women in the technology sector will be debated, in the session ” “Portugal Digital mais Igual – Iniciativas onde as mulheres (já) têm um lugar ativo”, held by INCoDe.2030, in partnership with the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality, Estrutura de Missão Portugal Digital and .PT. The opening session will be chaired by Rosa Monteiro, Secretary of State for Citizenship and Equality.
On March 9, another e-Tertulia of the “Digital Transformation Projects” cycle will take place, under the theme “The impact on Education”, highlighting the importance of these projects in this sector.
On the 25th of February, at 6:00 pm, another TALKS@[dcc] lecture will be held, on the topic “Artificial Intelligence Ethics: definition, main problems and possible solutions”. The lecture will be led by Luca M. Possati (Researcher and Philosopher at the University of Porto), who will elaborate questions and define possible solutions on ethics in Artificial Intelligence, analyzing its main approaches and concrete applications.
From the February 23 to 25, the IV National Forum for Diversity and Inclusion will take place, under the theme “Views on Diversity and Inclusion”, which, on the 24th, counts with the participation of .PT/ INCoDe.2030, in the session “From Transition to Digital Inclusion: Challenges and Opportunities”.
On March 2, at 5 pm, the 3rd edition of the CLOSE-UP by Champion For Change will take place, as part of the celebrations of International Women’s Day, which is celebrated on March 8.
