HEALTH 4.0: DESIGNING TOMORROW’S HEALTHCARE

“Health 4.0: designing tomorrow’s healthcare” is the topic of the 6th Annual Meeting (AM) of School of Health Technology of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra (ESTeSC-IPC), which will take place from the 25th to the 27th of June. This technical-scientific event is an opportunity to deepen knowledge and skills in the field of Digital Health among health professionals, higher education students, teachers and researchers.

EMPOWER AEVA

“Empower AEVA”  is a training action for digital competence that aims to provide all AEVA employees with skills that allow them to carry out their professional tasks, but also to better prepare them as informed digital citizens, who use the technological tools at their disposal as well as digital public services.

App-for-Good

APPS FOR GOOD

Apps for Good is a technological educational program that aims to create a new generation that uses technology to change the world, challenging teachers and students to develop applications for smartphones and/or tablets that help them in their mission to transform (and improve) their communities. Having started in 2004 in the United Kingdom, it has been present in Portugal since 2015, through CDI Portugal, in collaboration with Apps for Good UK.

SWitCH

REQUALIFICATION PROGRAM SWITCH

The SWitCH Program, organized by ISEP, together with the Porto Tech Hub business association, was developed with two objectives: to requalify graduates from various basic training courses, with an interest in integrating the area of Information Technologies (IT), and to respond to the great demand for qualified resources by companies.

Bright-start

PROGRAMA BRIGHTSTART

Pilot education program developed in partnership with Deloitte Portugal and the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. It seeks to contribute to the education and employability of young people and to complement the academic curriculum with a very practical component of work, in a real environment, integrating project teams. It is aimed at high school finalists, who will be assigned a long-term internship, which guarantees the resources to complete the program. At the end of the training, they will have acquired digital and technological skills that will put them at an advantage when integrating the labor market.

QUIDGEST_ACADEMY

Quidgest_Academy is a program that aims to develop digital skills, namely in software development for the general population, without the need to learn programming languages.

CAMPUS EDUCONLINE@PRIS FOR DIGITAL INCLUSION

Education is a universal right and plays a crucial role in human development, helping the individual to build his personality and character. Even in a situation of imprisonment, and taking into account the Council of Europe Recommendations on Education in Prisons and the European Prison Rules, citizens have the same rights in accessing education.

SIOSLIFE

SIOSLIFE – SISTEMA INTERATIVO DE INCLUSÃO SOCIAL

SiosLIFE aims to be the social movement of reference in the elderly’s social inclusion. Different interactive platforms are used to reach the various groups (elderly, family and institution), as well as innovative and optimized technological solutions for the surrounding context of the elderly: attendance or hospitalization in a social support institution (ERPI, Day Center, etc.) , institutional support at home (SAD), and even, with siosLIFE’s most recent solution, those who do not benefit from any institutional support.

EPRIS 3.0

The Europe 2020 Strategy reinforces the role of vocational training in its strategic framework, identifying specific objectives for 2020 such as making lifelong learning a reality, improving the quality of training and promoting equality, social cohesion and active citizenship. Priority areas include adult qualifications, investment in training, ICT in education and vocational education/training. Decree-Law nº 14/2017, of 26 January, indicates as a national priority the revitalization of adult education/training, a pillar of the qualifications system, translated into the Qualifica Program. It also refers that the training modalities (including the certified modular training included in the CNQ (National Catalogue for Qualifications), within the framework of continuous training) are applied, with the necessary adaptations, to groups with particular integration difficulties and with respect for equality of gender, as is the case of the population to which this action is aimed: women serving time.

DIGCOMPTEST.EU – SELF-ASSESSMENT TOOL

The project consists of the development of the website www.digcomptest.eu, with the aim of gathering information related to Digital Competencies, both for citizens (DigComp 2.1) and for educators/teachers (DigCompEdu).
