Bot Olympics is an educational and training event that aims to show the world of robotics in a fun and a little more simplistic prism in order to captivate younger minds for a huge area, which represents the future of the world around us. The 2020 edition will be the sixth edition of this event, with the participation of 140 participants, 50 staff members and 30 mentors.
The use of the internet through mobile devices (smartphone and tablets) greatly contributes to suppressing the limitations of learning confined to the classroom context, offering students the possibility of learning throughout their school path and beyond it.
The actions and activities developed in this project are intended to respond to a growing need for qualification, as well as to implement the principles, values and goals set out in the Educational Project of Santo André School Group.
O Projeto NEO FUNDÃO define-se pela realização de tutorias e apoio escolar por videoconferência, para 50 alunos, para as disciplinas de Matemática e Português, através de acesso a uma plataforma informática interativa. A maioria dos alunos reside nas zonas rurais do concelho do Fundão onde o acesso e a disponibilização de ferramentas de apoio ao estudo é praticamente inexistente.
The program for universal access to digital skills (T-CODE) promoted by TAGUSVALLEY in partnership with the Raspberry PI Foundation, follows internationally tested practices within the scope of CODECLUB in the use of programming as a vehicle for the development of more participatory digital citizens, capable of shaping technology according to their needs. This program is aimed directly at the students and teachers of the classes involved, and indirectly at the rest of the school community, as active agents in its digital transformation.
Activity aimed at students in the 4th grade (1st cycle), carried out on a roaming basis, in an academic component and integrating the curricular activities of the class. Its goal is to develop skills in the area of scratch language programming, allowing, at the same time, the development of fundamental transversal skills for academic and personal life, project work and an approximation of students to the community and from this to the students/classes , through sponsorship by companies/institutions.
The 2nd edition of NET VIVA E SEGURA aims to promote digital literacy, security and privacy in schools in relation to young people with the Internet, challenging them to produce videos on the following themes – Safe sharing, Safe connections and Courtesy is not a fantasy.
Sitestar.PT is a contest that gives young students the opportunity to build websites with the “.pt” domain to publicize their projects. Until December 17th, student groups can register for the initiative, organized by DECOJovem in partnership with .PT, with the aim of promoting the development of digital skills, encouraging young people to create websites with digital content in their areas of interest, thus promoting a more active and inclusive citizenship.
“Health 4.0: designing tomorrow’s healthcare” is the topic of the 6th Annual Meeting (AM) of School of Health Technology of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra (ESTeSC-IPC), which will take place from the 25th to the 27th of June. This technical-scientific event is an opportunity to deepen knowledge and skills in the field of Digital Health among health professionals, higher education students, teachers and researchers.
