The Roadmap INCoDe.2030 - Digital Capacitation passed by the University of Aveiro, on the 26th of January, to debate the theme of Smart Cities. Opening the session was the Rector of the University of Aveiro, Paulo Jorge Ferreira, the General Coordinator of INCoDe.2030, Luisa Ribeiro Lopes, and the Mayor of Aveiro, José Ribau Esteves.

Afterwards, there was a panel that gave voice to initiatives that have the support of INCoDe.2030, and the presentation of the results of the pilot carried out in the region of Aveiro, within the scope of the National Survey of Digital Capacity Building Initiatives, carried out by INCoDe .2030 with support from Deloitte. This was followed by a panel dedicated to the theme of the event, which was moderated by Hugo Coelho from TecParques, and speakers Miguel Castro Neto from Nova IMS, Ricardo Martins from Deloitte, Susana Sargento from the University of Aveiro, Filipe Moura from Instituto Superior Técnico and Ana Marques from the Portugal Digital Mission Structure.

We then watched the presentation of initiatives that stand out in the region of Aveiro, namely from the Municipality of Aveiro: Aveiro Tech City; from Wavecom: Smart Water, Smart Parking and Smart Counter; from Bosch: Smart Green Homes; from Ubiwhere: Urban Platform; and The Navigator Company: Inpactus.

In parallel, 2 workshops were held: “PTSOC and PSP - Challenges & Good Practices in Cybersecurity” and “EUSOUDIGITAL”.
