The 7th edition of the Engenheiras Por Um Dia Program starts today, the day that marks International Girls’ Day.
The Engineers for a Day Program aims to promote, among young students in primary and secondary education, the option for engineering and technology, deconstructing the idea that these are male domains and combating the stereotypes that condition their school and career options. career.
It currently has 186 participating entities – 62 schools/groups of schools, 23 higher education institutions, and 101 partner entities, including companies, associations and municipalities.
An initiative of the Portuguese Government, coordinated by INCoDe.2030 and the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality, and implemented by the Portuguese Association for Diversity and Inclusion, the Instituto Superior Técnico and the Order of Engineers.
