“Technovation Girls” was distinguished with the seal “uma ação INCoDe.2030”, in the area of inclusion. It is a global program of technological education, which aims to train girls from 8 to 18 years old, to become confident in STEM areas, leaders in the identification and awareness of relevant problems of today and creators of technological solutions.
Participants work in teams of up to five members, selecting an issue in their community and creating a mobile app or artificial intelligence project to help solve it.
Along the way (January to May) the teams are supported by mentors who guide them in this project, in which they are expected to develop technical and business knowledge, but also socio-emotional skills.
The submitted works are evaluated by an international jury, which will select the finalists for a global event that will take place in August (World Summit Technovation Girls).
