On February 9, 2021, Safer Internet Day is celebrated, a European initiative that aims to contribute to the creation of a better Internet for everyone, especially young people.
The Directorate-General for Education, through SeguraNet Awareness Centre, invites the school community, Schools Groups/Ungrouped Schools to promote activities within the scope of Digital Citizenship, during the coming month of February. These school activities aim to introduce or reinforce digital security issues among students, teachers, operational assistants, tutors and parents.
To celebrate this day, Centro Internet Segura Consortium will hold an Online Seminar, with the presence of national experts and some young people to share their testimonies on how to prevent and act in the face of this phenomenon across society.
In order to be able to give the deserved visibility to the initiatives that each Group/School will develop, as well as to allow their georeferencing, it is requested that you proceed to registration here.
