Career trajectories in debate - November 5
The challenges and perspectives of future career trajectories are the motto at the 5th November conference that will take place in Auditorium II at the Lisbon Congress Center (Centro de Congressos de Lisboa). The conference is organized by the national support service of The Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe (EPALE) and The National Agency for Qualification and Vocational Education (ANQEP), in partnership with the AIP Foundation, within the framework of Futurália 2019.
Miguel Cabrita, The Secretary of State of Employment, at the opening session, and João Costa, The Secretary of State of Education at the closure session, are among the names that are part of the programme.
During the morning there will be a sharing and reflection plenary session. The first introducer, Pedro Guedes de Oliveira, General Coordinator of the INCoDe programme.2030, will initiate the discussion with ‘Knowledge: the link between the past and the future’. In the afternoon there will be a call for everyone to participate in four different workshops: "The future of work, careers and trajectories", "Literacies, soft skills and emerging skills", "Lifelong learning: commitment to inclusion" and "Knowledge, heritage and employability".
After the workshops are concluded, the participants meet again in a plenary session on "The challenges and perspectives of careers and paths in an integrated vision".
According to information made available on the site, this conference intends to mark the opening, in Portugal, of the III European Vocational Skills Week, 5-9 November 2018 which brings into discussion this year ‘New challenges and opportunities inherent to a new era - Industry 4.0, driven by changes generated not only by the digitization but also by the Digital transformation of the whole society’.
