To mark the International Day of Girls in ICT, the Engenheiras Por Um Dia program, with the support of INCoDe.2030, organized the STEM LABS initiative: Engineering and Technology Laboratories, on April 27, at Pavilhão Casal Vistoso in Lisbon, and on the 4th of May, at the Cultural Center of Viana do Castelo.
This initiative included practical and dynamic activities, with engineering and technology laboratories, aimed at schools.
On the first day of the event, in Lisbon, 300 students participated in a space with 21 stands from different companies and universities. On the 4th of May, around 400 students and 23 stands were present. The objective of these laboratories is to bring the school community closer to the job market in STEM areas.
