INCoDe.2030 itinerary goes to Tomar on March 21st

The next session of the Roadmap INCoDe.2030 – Digital Training will take place in Tomar, on March 21st, from 9:00 am, at the Municipal Library of Tomar, with the presence of the Secretary of State for Digitization and Administrative Modernization, Mário Campolargo.

This session will be dedicated to the theme of “Sustainability” and will give voice to local initiatives, but also to emblematic projects that promote digital training in Portugal, and which have the support of INCoDe.2030.

The INCoDe.2030 Roadmap is touring the whole country, focusing on a multitude of themes. It has already passed through Sines, Azores, Castelo Branco, Coimbra, Santarém, Aveiro, Viana do Castelo and Covilhã where the themes of Cybersecurity, Sea, Citizenship and Digital Sovereignty, Education, Health, Smart Cities, Disruptive Technologies and Higher Education were discussed.

Three face-to-face workshops will take place in parallel, registration for which is mandatory:

1. PTSOC & PSP| Cybersecurity Challenges & Best Practices – is a workshop aimed at Companies, Organizations and all Professionals. It aims to contribute to greater awareness and training on Cybersecurity issues, by identifying the main risks and threats of using cyberspace in the national context and sharing good practices and safe behavior in the use of technology and digital.

2. EUSOUDIGITAL – is a simple and free digital initiation program. Developed with adults over 45 years old in mind, with little or no contact with the internet, this training will teach you how to do research and browse the internet, create a digital identity, a personal account on a social network and use email.

3. SPMS|SNS 24 and IPST – training aimed at ordinary citizens and health professionals. It will teach you how to use the SNS24 App and the personal area of the portal, as well as how to access the main functionalities of digital health services, namely Teleconsultation. It will also address the theme of Young Donors & Young Leaders for the Promotion of Blood Donation in Portugal, making reference to the importance, requirements and procedures of blood and bone marrow donors.

4. Apps For Good (only for teachers) – this workshop aimed at teachers who teach any subject area, from the 5th to the 12th grade, intends for participants to obtain information about the innovative pedagogical approach of Apps for Good and to experience some dynamics: creation of an idea, app prototype design and communication of an idea (pitch).

During the morning, there will also be two workshops aimed at schools:

Engineers for a day – is a workshop aimed at students of school age. The Engenheiras Por Um Dia Program encourages non-higher education students to opt for engineering and technology (STEM), deconstructing the idea that these are male domains.

Computational Thinking | ENSICO – is a workshop aimed at students of school age. ENSICO promotes a class that encourages young people’s computational thinking, through a notebook that allows them to understand the concepts behind a computer.
